Omarchy and Hyprland compatibility

  • Lenovo sold it with Linux preinstalled (Ubuntu Linux)
  • Face login (IR camera) is not part of Omarchy’s setup (fingerprint and FIDO2 keys are)
  • Fingerprint reader: Omarchy’s menu sets it up for sudo and the lock screen (if libfprint supports the sensor)
  • Wi-Fi chip: MediaTek / Qualcomm (varies by configuration)

Good for (judged from specs)

  • Web & app development
  • Heavy Docker & VMs
  • Game dev (Godot, Unity)
  • Photo & design
  • Video editing
  • Gaming (Steam / Proton)
