The joy of choosing your shell

Bash, Zsh, fish: the tool you hold every day is yours to choose

Just like choosing a programming language or editor, your shell is something you get to pick. Bash is the "reliable friend who's always around." Log into virtually any server and Bash is there. It's the safe choice that never lets you down.

Zsh is the customization powerhouse. Install Oh My Zsh and instantly get beautiful themes and smart completions tailored to your taste. fish takes a different approach entirely. Out of the box, it gives you autosuggestions, syntax highlighting, and sane defaults. Zero configuration needed. For those who'd rather work than tinker, it's a dream.

There's no right answer. What matters is that you get to choose the tool you use every single day. Someday, when you start curating your own shell environment, you'll discover a whole new reason to love the terminal.
