Pros don't have it all memorized

Ask a veteran engineer, "What's the shortcut to jump to the beginning of a line?" and you might get a surprising answer. "Hmm... Ctrl+A? Actually, my fingers just know. When I try to think about it, I can't remember."
There are things you learn with your head and things you learn with your body. Terminal operations fall into the latter category. At first, you type while thinking through each step. But before long, your fingers start moving on their own. Just like riding a bicycle, your body learns before your mind catches up. You don't need to try to memorize anything. Use it enough, and your body will remember.
"My fingers just know" is the most natural way to learn the terminal.
